In late September Pope Francis is coming to United States for his 2015 Apostolic Journey and is scheduled to make numerous appearances along the east coast including visits to New York City, Philadelphia and Washington, DC. While all of these stops are very exciting and important, your best chance to see and hear Pope Francis will be in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on September 26th and 27th.
On Saturday the 26th Pope Francis is scheduled to touchdown at Atlantic Aviation, Philadelphia at 9:30 am from there he will travel to Cathedral Basillica of Saints Peter and Paul to hold mass at 10:30 am. Later he will be visiting Independence Mall at 4:45 pm and wrapping up the day at the Festival of Families at Benjamin Franklin Parkway starting around 7:30 pm.
On Sunday the 27th the Pope has various meetings with the World Meetings of Families early in the morning but at 4 pm will be holding Mass for the conclusion of the World Meetings of Families at the Benjamin Franklin Parkway. This Mass will likely be your last chance to get a glimpse of the Pope or to hear him speak so make sure not to miss it before he departs back to Rome!
