The National Cherry Festival has been ranked as one USA Today’s top ten festivals multiple times and is a great stop for anyone that wants to experience Pure Michigan along with enjoying all the flavors that a cherry provides.
Family Fun for All Ages at National Cherry Festival
Each year near the first Saturday of July, the National Cherry Festival is held in Traverse City, Michigan. The festival attracts over a half a million attendees over the course of eight 8 days. They come to experience the over 150 events that happen with well over a majority 85% of the activities as free. Activities at this festival are for both young and old with activities. Some activities for kids include a cherry pie eating contest, turtle races, sand sculpture and kid’s parade with everyone being able to enjoy the various cherry flavored treats.
